The Department of Human Rights has produced a series of five 30-second radio spots on sexual harassment.
We encourage radio stations to convey these messages. They are available for download on this web page in .mp3 format (stereo, 44.1kH), suitable for broadcast. We can also furnish them to broadcast media on audio CD, upon request.

"That's Bob All Right..."
Woman: He keeps sending me e-mails.... and asking me to see him after work. I told him I was married....
Female friend: Yeah?
Woman: He said, "So am I."
Female friend: That sounds like Bob all right.
Woman: Somebody should tell his wife.....
Female friend: Somebody should tell his boss -- you....
Woman: I don't want to make trouble....
Female friend: You've got trouble..... your work is suffering. Our company has a sexual harassment policy...
Woman: I know --
Female friend: Take advantage of it..... don't let him take advantage of you.
Announcer: Sexual harassment. Report it... it's your job. This message from the Minnesota Department of Human Rights.
"Not this time..."
Joe: She freaked man...
Pete: The new girl?
Joe: Yeah -- what's her name?
Pete: Joni.
Joe: Yeah. I had that web site up.... you know...
Pete: The one with the babes?
Joe: I thought maybe she'd get the idea of how she could..... raise our spirits...You should have seen her face...
Pete: Shut up.
Joe: Hey, what's the matter.... We always joke around.
Pete: I know --
Joe: It was funny...
Pete: Not this time.
Joe: Why not?
Pete: She's my sister.
Joe: Oh. (Pause.) Oh, well..... that's different...

Female friend: You mean.... porn?
Woman: He said I should check it out -- it was educational.
Female friend: I'll bet... You should report him.
Woman: I don't want to make trouble.
Female friend: You've got trouble -- it bothers you.
Woman: There were all these pictures.... of sex acts....
Female friend: It sounds like the one Act he needs to learn about.
Woman: Yeah?

Two Monologues
Woman: The first time he said It... I wondered if I heard him right.
Man: I said she had a body that was made for --
Woman: He kept staring at my chest.
Man: I was just kidding around.
Woman: He put his hand on my --
Man: Her strap was showing -- I just tucked it in.
Woman: I told him to leave me alone --
Man: I could tell she liked it. So I asked her out --
Woman: -- every day for the next month... Then finally he stopped.
Man: I had to.. (Pause.) I lost my job.

Boss: She didn't think it was funny -- and you wouldn't quit. That's why we're providing training for you and --
Employee: Look -- I don't need sexual harassment training.... I know how to sexually harass... (laughs)
Boss: We'll see you Friday, 10 AM. Any questions?
Employee: Yeah... who do I have to sleep with to get out of this sexual harassment training?
Boss: Joe --
Employee: It was a joke!
Boss: Maybe training isn't the answer in your case.... I've got a better idea.
Employee: What's that?
Boss: You're fired.
Employee: That's not funny...
