The Department of Human Rights provides detailed information on a broad range of department programs and activities, consistent with the requirements of the Human Rights Act with respect to public and private data. In this section you'll find data highlighting the department's performance in investigating charges of discrimination and resolving such charges, when probable cause is determined, through mediation, conciliation and litigation. The department's affirmative action plan is also available here.

Accountability Minnesota (Department Results)

Department of Human Rights mission and goals are explained in detail on Accountability Minnesota, the state government web site that publishes state agencies' performance goals, measures and results.

Affirmative Action Plan

The department's affirmative action plan details the establishment of affirmative action programs, including equal opportunity in employment to current and prospective employees without regard to race, religion, creed, color, age, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, status with regard to public assistance, membership or activity in a local human rights commission.

Report to the Legislature

Twice a year the Minnesota Department of Human Rights submits its semi-annual Report to the Legislature summarizing the results of its investigation and resolution of human rights complaints.
